Defining Connection Information at the Activity Level

When defining connection information at the workflow definition level, you can designate an exception for one or more of the contained activities. Defining connection information for an activity allows it to interact with a different repository than the workflow interacts with as a whole.

Note: You can only define connection information at the activity level if the workflow has more than one connection profile. To add a connection profile to a workflow, see Defining Connection Info at the Workflow Definition Level.

To define connection information at the activity level

1. Add an activity to the Designer Pane by dragging it from the Toolbox Pane and dropping it into the Designer Pane.
2. In the Properties Pane, choose a connection profile from the drop-down menu in the Connection Profile property box. The profile you select will only apply to the activity in question.



Note: Only activities that need to access a Laserfiche repository will have this property box.

3. Optional: You can create a new profile by clicking Manage Connections.
